How this workflow works
- Connect the LinkedIn account you want the agent to use.
- Give the company name and any clues such as its website, location or industry.
- Review the matching companies and let the agent select the exact company ID.
- Retrieve the company profile and report `insights.headcount` or, when exact headcount is unavailable, the returned headcount range.
A company name is not a LinkedIn company ID. Search and disambiguate first, then retrieve the profile using the exact returned company ID.

Can I provide only a company name?
Yes. The agent searches first and asks you to choose when several companies match.
Does LinkedIn return an exact employee count?
The V2 company profile can return `insights.headcount` and a headcount range. Availability depends on the selected company and connected LinkedIn account.
Can the agent then find employees at that company?
Yes. It can reuse the resolved company in a separate people search and return matching profiles.
